About Us

Wesyley Methodist Secondary School is a registered school in Tanzania, Magu Region,built by the Methodist Church In Tanzania to offer able young people from financially disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to realize their academic potential. Since inception we have supported students in local district and provided educational materials and facilities to students from allover Magu district.

Physical facilities 

Wesley Methodist Secondary School currently has 3 blocks of classrooms offering one complete and two undergoing constructions.It sits under acres of land purchased by the Methodist Church In Tanzania.




Wesleyan Secondary school chief purpose is

  • To develop the minds and consciences of its students so that they can become self-disciplined and resourceful, and therefore better able to serve society in a useful way. Above all, the School emphasizes academic excellence and moral integrity.
  • To create an environment that is conducive to learning; both  teachers and well-motivated students strive to create this environment.
  • Through daily close contact with the students in the classroom, in extra-curricular activities and on the sports fields, the School Staff strive to develop in the students such qualities, such as honesty, responsibility, good use of freedom, tolerance, and hard work.
  • To provide an education based on Christian principles and accepts worthwhile students regardless of creed.
